Once upon a time, there was a world where everything was perfect. There was a village called HeavenVille. Everyone was happy and got what they wanted. There were no wars and it was peaceful. In it lived a happy boy called James. He was clever and loved cute things. He liked to explore the forest, studying plants and animals.

One day, he saw a cute little chipmunk at his front door. When he reached down to pat it, it ran away. It went into the forest, so he followed it until it climbed up a tree. He clambered after it. When he got to the top, the chipmunk had already disappeared into a hole in the trunk. He hopped inside after the chipmunk and was sucked into a mysterious world. It was called Eearth, it was really different from HeavenVille. There were homeless people moaning, and there were weird things with wheels that transport people to where they want. In HeavenVille, they each had a floating cloud for traveling. James was now confused, he wondered why some people’s eyes looked like the Spritefall, which was a waterfall made of Sprite, at HeavenVille. They have air bubbles for fish, and sugar for rocks. It was a place that a lot of people liked to come “Bubble Fishing.” And why they were breathing like they had too many marshmallows in their mouths. He wanted to explore the area to see if there were any marshmallow machines, but there were none. He tried to summon his floating cloud, but what appeared in his hand was a bunch of gooey, viscous stuff.

He got rid of it at a sink he found nearby. He kept walking, until a big man stopped him. The man said, “Hey, little kid, do you want to come to my house and get some candy?” James was hungry, but he was no fool, this man looked exactly like a murdering swine. He said, “No thanks, it’s so kind of you to give this offer, but I’m full. The man’s welcoming smile turned into a smile that looked like a toad’s. He said, “Well, I’ll just have to force you to come then.” Before James could react, the man used his heavy sack to whack him on the head. Then everything went blank.

When James woke up, he felt a throbbing sensation on his head. Also, he was locked in a cage with a lock on it. The man stood glowering over the cage. James now saw that the man was quite short, with short legs, and a crooked nose. He looked exactly like one of James’ friends, Carl, except Carl wouldn’t whack him on the head with a sack. Carl was nice. After a while the man spoke, he said, “Go wash the dishes boy from now on, you’re my servant.” James obeyed, and went to do as he was told. After he finished washing the dishes, the man demanded, “Now go make me some dinner! The supplies are in the cupboard, the vegetables are in the garden.” James was almost too happy to agree.

He was a clever boy, and clever boys do clever stuff. He opened the cupboard and took out some pepper. Then, he went to the garden and picked some herbs. He also picked some stuff that he knew was bad for humans. He was glad he explored the forest at home in Heavenville so much. Then, he heard a loud noise coming from nearby. He walked towards the sound and saw a barn. There were chickens, pigs, and cows inside, all in cages like he was kept in. He ignored them and started back towards the kitchen. When he got back to the kitchen, first, he boiled some water. While he waited for the water to boil, he chopped up the herbs and his secret ingredient. When the water was hot, he dumped the spices, herbs, and one special leaf that was carefully picked. After the soup was ready, he put a spoon in it and put it on the table in front of the man. The man looked up from the article he was reading and took a sip of the soup. He smacked his lips appreciatively, “Not bad, not bad at all!” he said. Then, he continued looking at his article. While the man was eating and reading his article, James had an idea. He snuck towards his cage and took off the lock. Then, he damaged it with a rock so that it was dented couldn’t be used again. Then, he put the lock back on and walked back towards the man. The man was already done with the soup and was relaxing in the living room. James made a move towards the door. The man said, “Don’t try to escape, go back to your cage. I’ll lock you in really well.” He did as he was told. He shuffled back to his cage and sat there, doing nothing. After a while of sitting in the cage biting his fingernails, the man took the key and tried to lock the cage. He swore as he cut his finger. “Why isn’t this lock working……..” he sleepily said. Then, all of a sudden, he was asleep, the poison had taken effect.

James ran out of the cage and the door. He sprinted towards the forest without knowing where he was going. He zoomed, crashed into a tree and looked up. He was shocked to find out that this was the same tree that he followed the chipmunk through. The hole was the exact same. He climbed up, took a breath and jumped down the hole. He was instantly back in HeavenVille’s forest. He ran home, while stuffing himself with marshmallows that the marshmallow machine fired at him. When he got home, he devised a plan to help the people in the other world and stop slavery. He would one day return to earth and help the people there. So that everywhere would be HeavenVille.
